While it acts like Alfresco, Alfred Desktop looks like Window Explorer to end-users. Well known as Fred, it is a desktop application that, on top of the standard Alfresco functionalities, allows you to download metadata, upload folders, zip content, compare versions and extend support to project specific use cases.

With no training required and more than fifteen minutes saved per user, per day, the user adoption and the scalability increase as the return of investment (ROI).


2. Alfred finder

Alfred Finder lets you find your documents, preview your documents and process metadata. It is an optimized application framework packaged as a full UI and usable as components for third-party application integration.


Alfred Desktop and Alfred Finder turn Alfresco information into actionable know-how. Our end-user tools span from zero-learning enterprise adaption to next generation multi-platform user experience. 3. alfred inflow

Alfred Inflow is a solution to migrate documents at high speed into Alfresco. You can use Alfred Inflow for one-time migrations or the continuous stream of documents. It effortlessly handles the loading of large batches of files and, at the same time, knows how to load from different sources simultaneously. All of its functionalities -from creating, editing, running jobs to managing the configuration- are done to let you achieve one thing: uploading documents faster in a controlled and secure way.


4. ALFRED edge

Alfresco administrators may struggle with upgrading Alfresco systems, because they are tightly coupled with different integrations and third party systems, including scan facilities, email, document output systems and vertical business applications. To tackle that problem, Alfred Edge enriches your content services architecture with a "facade pattern". Alfred Edge offers a single point of API access (API Gateway), inducing stability and simplicity of business integration.


Alfred creates a synchronous and asynchronous gateway in front of Alfresco. Consequently, customer can enforce quality of service, internet scale security and business agility applying today's best architectural practices. Together, Alfred Edge (sync) and Alfred Inflow (async) regulate all traffic in and out of Alfresco.Today we put cloud technologies like spring cloud and docker into large scale production, tomorrow micro-services and reactive systems will further innovate Alfred.



Alfred Object Storage replaces the traditional file-system based document store of Alfresco. All content such as business documents are stored in Caringo Swarm. The integration enables documents to simply be stored in and retrieved from Swarm, using the standard Alfresco interfaces.
